Garden Tour – Glebe Gardens Launceston

Every turn reveals a new landscape to explore

Experience a peaceful escape through five hectares of beautifully designed gardens in Launceston, where every turn reveals a new landscape to explore. Designed by master landscaper Patrick Graham, Glebe Gardens offers a self-guided walking tour that flows seamlessly through a variety of themed spaces, natural features and open lawns.

Your journey begins at the iconic 10-metre Eiffel Tower and winds gently around veggie gardens, tranquil ponds and expansive green spaces. One of the most memorable points of the tour is the Japanese Garden, home to a peaceful pond, local wildlife and a striking two-tonne hand-carved Buddha statue. In spring, the Golden Chain Tree bursts into bloom, filling the air with fragrance and attracting bees from all around the garden.

After completing your loop of the grounds, you’re invited to continue your visit by wandering through our plant nursery, exploring the unique Gift Shop, or relaxing at the Glebe Gardens Café overlooking the picturesque fernery.
